In this training, you will learn how to tell the difference between a substance use disorder (SUD) and non-problematic substance related behaviors, factors that put people at risk for developing issues with substance use, how people recover from substance
misuse, and practical ways to approach people about substance use concerns.

This training provides 0.5 Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Chemical
Dependency Counselor. Upon successful completion of this online course, you will earn a certificate of completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
