Description
This in-person
workshop is available by invitation only to designated Managed Care
Organizations (MCO) and affiliated providers of long term services and supports
(LTSS).
This training teaches participants how to help
someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental
health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it helps
trainees identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and
substance use disorders.
This course provides 8
hours of Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses:
Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social
Work, Marriage and Family Therapist and Chemical Dependency Counselor.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will earn a certificate of
completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
Funding for all in-person training opportunities
is provided by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and is only
offered to Texas residents.
