Description
This training is available by invitation only to designated Managed Care Organizations (MCO) and their behavioral health affiliates.
This is a 4-day in-person training consisting of classroom teaching each morning followed by practicing learned skills each afternoon within members’ homes. In-home visits consist of conducting assessments and establishing supports according to the treatment manual. This training is best suited for individuals who are in a manager, trainer, supervisor, or leadership role. The in-person workshop is followed by six months of every other week supervision via Skype or similar platform
Prerequisites: You must complete the CAT eLearning course prior to the in-person CAT Train the Trainer training. If you do not successfully complete the eLearning course prior to the in-person training, you will be asked to reschedule for a later date.

This eLearning course provides 3.6 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the following licenses: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist and Chemical Dependency Counselor. Upon successful completion of this eLearning course, you will earn a certificate of completion and (if applicable) continuing education credit.
Funding for all training opportunities is provided by the
Texas Health and Human Services Commission and is only offered to Texas
residents.
